What is the secret to this?

With the intention of documenting a group o Emperor penguins, he visited Auster Rookery. To record their daily lives and activities, he left his camera at the penguins. One of the penguins walked up to the camera and knocked the lens over. The footage shows that the penguin accidentally took a selfie with the rest of penguins.
